




altraQ... is a small cooperative which was officially constituted on 4th October 2002. It will find its own role in fair trade world in two ways:
· By offering consulting services to entities operating in the fair trade world and to external subjects, that are interested in developing fair trade activities (ngos, private corporations and institutions);
· By directly managing trade relations and development activities addressed to producers’ organisations respecting fair trade criteria.
Our objectives :
Our consulting activity aims to be innovative, as it won’t be limited to strictly technical and commercial matters, but it will be mainly devoted to:
- facilitate relationships between fair trade importers/distributors and partner producers’ organisations;
- improve the final quality and enrich the range of products (especially handicraft products) according to market needs and expectations;
- enrich the informational action of a fair trade product to the final consumer.
Our target :
Our activities will be differentiated according to addressees. In general our services will be directed to any fair trade operator requiring them, but they will be especially projected to meet the needs and interests of medium sized organisations, such as worldshops or groups of worldshops beginning to manage direct import activities, small importers and distributors etc.
